Sessions & Frequency

Sessions are 53 minutes in length. We usually begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Over time, we may decide together whether biweekly sessions make sense.

Extended (80–90 minute) sessions are available for individuals or couples who want more space for deeper work.

Fees

  • Intake (60–75 minutes): $185

  • Individual therapy (53 minutes): $160

  • Extended individual therapy (80–90 minutes): $225 (private pay only)

  • Couples therapy (53 minutes): $175

  • Extended couples therapy (80–90 minutes): $250 (private pay only)

A limited number of sliding scale spots are available for those with financial need. These do not represent my full rate, but are offered as a limited adjustment. If all spots are full, I can add you to a waitlist.

Insurance

I am currently in-network with Premera, Lifewise and most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.
If you’re using insurance, session length and coverage depend on your specific plan. You are responsible for any fees not covered.

If I am out-of-network with your plan, I can provide a superbill you may submit for possible reimbursement.

If you are self-pay or out-of-network, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate under the No Surprises Act. Read more here.

Cancellation Policy

Sessions must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows are billed at the full session fee. Insurance does not cover missed appointments.

Telehealth

I offer secure video sessions to clients located in Washington State when clinically appropriate.

Communication

I use a secure client portal for scheduling, forms, and confidential messages. Email and text are available for scheduling or logistical purposes only and should not be used for emergencies.

Crisis Support

I do not provide crisis services outside of scheduled sessions.
If you are in immediate danger, please call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency department.

The Office

My office is located on the street level in Bellingham’s Fountain District, easily accessible by car, bus, bike, or foot. The space is ADA accessible and designed to feel calm and grounded, with natural light, warm textures, and a sense of quiet.

There is ample, free street parking nearby, and the entrance is simple to find. When you arrive, please come at your appointment time and knock to be let in.

In-person appointments take place here on Mondays and Thursdays; telehealth sessions are also available for clients anywhere in Washington State.
