I've spent the last few days feeling both heartsick and hopeful about what will happen during the COP21 in Paris. I want desperately for this convention to change the conversation on climate change toward radical redevelopment, community building, and zero emissions. The time to act is now.
After reading this article in VOGUE, however, I am feeling much more hopeful than heartsick. Because these climate women warriors are BRAVE. From an indigenous woman fighting to save Lake Chad to an international climate lawyer, the thirteen women profiled in the piece are working passionately and persistently to create a healthier world, heal communities, and honor the environment that nurtures us. Read their stories. Get inspired. And fight for and with these women. Because they are fighting for you-- for your right to live in a nourishing ecosystem--this very moment.
